This policy applies to AliCarParts.com public pages and its administration area. It does not govern Alibaba.com, suppliers, or other websites reached through outbound links.
Information we collect
Catalog and usage activity
We record selected vehicle type, make, model, model year, part area, part, search time, and supplier-link clicks. Search and click records include a pseudonymous SHA-256 value created from the connecting IP address and a private application key; those tables do not store the raw IP address.
Device and consent information
Your browser stores separate analytics and advertising choices locally for up to 180 days. Finder selections are retained in session storage for this browser tab so you can edit them; no VIN or saved-garage account is created. Our server and hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security events. Authenticated administrators use a session cookie and failed login events are rate-limited by a keyed IP hash.
Affiliate transaction reporting
Alibaba.com may send server-to-server affiliate events after an outbound visit. These can include a random AliCarParts click ID, publisher ID, order and product identifiers, product name, order or spam status, amount, commission, currency, and country. AliCarParts does not ask Alibaba to include a buyer name, email address, payment details, or street address in this postback.

If you email us, we receive the address and contents you choose to provide.
Sources and purposes
We receive information from your interaction with the site, authorized administrators, configured analytics providers after consent, advertising providers under their consent controls, supplier-data feeds, and hosting/security providers. We use it to operate the parts finder, produce relevant supplier links, improve catalog coverage, measure performance, fund the service, prevent abuse, secure administration, answer requests, and comply with law.
Disclosures
When you follow an outbound link, Alibaba.com receives the normal information involved in that request and may return affiliate transaction status to us. If you accept optional analytics, online identifiers and events such as parts-finder progress, completed catalog selections, quick part searches, and affiliate-link clicks may be sent to Google under its terms. These events use catalog identifiers or slugs and are not intended to contain a VIN, name, email address, or payment details. When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process device, cookie, consent, and advertising data to select, deliver, limit, and measure ads. In regions where it is required, advertising choices are collected through a Google-certified consent message. Hosting, database, security, and professional-service providers may process information only to support site operations. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
We do not knowingly sell personal information. Advertising or analytics integrations may qualify as “sharing” or targeted advertising under some laws. The site’s control changes separate analytics and advertising preferences. Google’s advertising privacy message, when shown, controls the advertising choices offered for your region.
Retention
Search and click records are automatically deleted after 13 months. Affiliate transaction events are deleted after 25 months to support commission reconciliation. Supplier discovery run logs are deleted after 180 days, and failed-login records after 30 days. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends or the server timeout is reached. We retain emails and records required for legal, security, or operational needs only as long as reasonably necessary.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. You may also appeal a denied request where applicable. Email support@alicarparts.com. We may need to verify your request and will not discriminate for exercising a privacy right.
Children, security, and changes
The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We use access controls, prepared queries, output encoding, restrictive browser policies, and retention limits, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
